Ravi Kulkarni was among the early batches of the Indian Marine Special Force (IMSF), which later evolved into the Marine Commando Force (MARCOS) of the Indian Navy. Across a distinguished military career, he took part in operations and clandestine missions in some of the most challenging environments, and later helped train the next generation of MARCOS commandos.
After retirement, his drive to push limits continued through rare adventure initiatives — including the world's first traditional underwater marriage ceremony and the first underwater Independence Day flag hoisting with the National Anthem and parade. In 2021, he completed 125 treks in a single calendar year.
Beyond military life, he has held senior management roles at Go Airlines and Imagicaa, India's first theme park, and holds a degree in Naturopathy, guiding others toward healthier living with the same discipline that shaped his service.
